From Print to Ebook!

I am happy to announce that my book, Gentle Melancholy, will soon be available for download in eBook format!  I have been hoping to do this for a while, and it is finally in the beginning stages.  The conversion process take a little time, so I will keep you updated on the progress!  Once it's up and ready, I will be running a special sale so check back often!

Without Wings

Awaken
Eyes of Eagle
Golden
In the dawn
Hugging
Quilted land
Soaring
Without song
Earth blends
Below
Sky beckons
Above

Rise

Eagle
Into Hawk
Swept down
To empty
Thirsty
Land
Down into
The hidden
Quiet drops
Creating
Mountains
That fall
Into the sea
White sand
To gray
Cliff
Scraping dust
From stone
Outstretched arms
Awaiting
Eyes across
Forever
All of this
Is yours
Drawn into
Shadows of
Green
Encased in tree
And leaf
Emerging to
Chase laughter
Until memory
Blooms
A living rainbow
Alive
In the breeze
Lifted
Into the sun

Awake

A Different Kind of Creativity

I was playing around with a Photoshop tutorial today, and was inspired to create a piece representative of my latest short story, "Creeping Ivy".  Creativity comes in many forms.  :)  Hope you like it.

Today's Quote

"A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be." -- Abraham Maslow
